Community Involvement
Simpson Housing is a company that cares about people and the communities we serve. In October of 2007, Simpson launched the “YOU Make the Difference” program. Over 700 employees participated in a paid day of volunteering for various organizations in their community, giving back over 5,200 hours of service to more than 50 charitable projects from coast to coast. This program was so successful that the company intends to make it an annual event.
But our community involvement doesn’t end there. Simpson has a long history of giving to other community service organizations including:
- Women’s Crisis Center, Colorado
- Bravo Company, Camp Gannon, Iraq
- Compa Food Bank, Colorado
- Battered Women’s Shelter, Charlotte, NC
Taking good care of our residents and employees is at the core of the company’s Vision, Mission and Values. This commitment of caring also carries over to the many communities in which we operate. Being a good neighbor is the way we do business at Simpson Housing.
