I lived in Silos for four years and couldn't speak more highly of the experience. It's nestled in an ideal spot of South End - within short walking distance of the New Bern stop, but far enough away to be quiet. The Rail Trail is right there and Harris Teeter is a short walk away. We used their dog park on a daily basis and there was a big community there. The gym was also ideal, with all of the essential equipment (free weights up to 80? pounds and a Smith machine plus plenty of cardio). It's busy but functional. They also offer free breakfast every other Saturday and a mix of happy hours through the year. The Spectrum TV and internet bundle is very nice too. Our apartment was beautiful and efficient. Appliances all worked well and if there were any issues, maintenance quickly handled it. Thanks Drake, Alan and Jason! The front office was always welcoming and helpful too. Thanks Sara, Chaz and Ryan! For four years, Silos was a great home for us, and it was tough to leave. We couldn't recommend it more highly.

Ryan at Silos South End was extremely helpful, thoroughly answering my questions through the apartment search process. There was a slight issue with the apartment during move in and he helped me move to a different unit, which I am super excited to live at. I highly recommend my experience at Silos.

The Silos Silos is the optimal place to live, while being in the heart of the city. The buildings are spread out helping with making it more of a community and village than just an apartment

I recently had the pleasure of working with Ryan at Silos, and I can't recommend him highly enough! From the moment we started, his patience and extensive knowledge about the property and the surrounding area truly stood out. It was refreshing to encounter a team that has such deep tenure at the property; it really shows in their expertise and commitment. It’s clear why he has so many awards on his desk—his dedication to his clients is evident in every interaction. If you’re looking for someone who genuinely cares and knows their stuff, Ryan is the person to see!

Silos is a wonderful apartment community to live in! There are plenty of options to choose from in Charlotte, but the front office team & maintenance staff truly go above and beyond the typical apartment standards; this undoubtedly differentiates them from the rest. If you’re new to Charlotte or looking for a fresh start, I can’t recommend Silos highly enough. Special S/O to Sara in the front office & Drake on the maintenance team!

Overall, Silos is a great spot to be. It's in an ideal walking location for an array of options. Walking the rail trail, blue line station 5 minute walk away, slew of restaurants, breweries, and shops just to name a few. In terms of the apartments themselves, pretty standard and average. Amenity spaces are nice. Leasing office holds multiple resident events a month and are pretty attentive in terms of responsiveness. Guest parking (particularly Fridays-Sundays) can be challenging, especially with the siding contractors taking various spots for a project that has been taking place for significantly longer than it should be. No supervision of contractors and lack of communication to residents can be frustrating at times. To conclude, if you are looking to live in South End I would recommend Silos as a potential option.
