Working at Simpson Housing truly makes me excited to start my week. I have been in property management for almost 14 years, and can say without a doubt that Simpson Housing is unique and stands out above the rest. I began as an Assistant Manager and was given the tools, resources and most importantly the support required for promotion into the Community Manager position. The generous PTO policy allows me to maintain a balance and return to work rejuvenated. I love how Simpson realizes the opportunity it has to give back to our community through Simpson Makes A Difference Day; I have cleared trail heads, repainted playgrounds and picked up miles of trash to make our community better for our residents to call home. Most of all, I feel cared for. I am not only valued as an employee but as an individual. The level of respect everyone has for one another and the autonomy I am provided to do the very best at my job each and every day is incredibly valuable.

During my 22 years of employment with Simpson Property Group, I have had the opportunity to work at four different communities in two different states. Simpson  believes and invests in their team members' growth and development, both professionally and personally. Simpson Housing truly cares about their employees. I have been with the company 9 years now and am proud to be part of our team. I started as a Service Technician with the company and was promoted to Service Supervisor. I was given all the tools to be successful in my field of work. Education is a huge part of our culture. I was able to receive my Certified Pool Operator (CPO) and Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT) certifications paid for by the company.

I value that our company seeks to promote within and is always here when needed, whether something is work related or a personal matter. I am now a National Training Director for our company and could not be more proud to be part of the Simpson culture.

I have had the pleasure of working with Simpson Housing for almost 2 years. I have worked in property management for 18 years and have never encountered the level of compassion Simpson Housing provides to its employees. Simpson allows employees to have a work life balance and it is appreciated for employees that are constantly juggling to find a work and home life balance. I love that Simpson allows me to do my two favorite things, property management and raising my children. I feel like the culture Simpson provides is accepting and my ideas are always heard. For the first time in my career, I truly feel valued within my role.

I had the pleasure of working for Simpson Housing as a Bookkeeping Manager in one of the largest apartment communities in the Intermountain Region before being offered the opportunity to join the Accounting and Finance Team here at the corporate office.

It has been an amazing 23 years since I joined Simpson, and I can't imagine working anywhere else! It really is like having one big family, and everyone is treated as equal, vital and important. Employees who I have only ever emailed are like family! If you need support, everyone is willing to help, and as tough as this industry is sometimes, it's nice to know you can rely on management and team members.

Upon receiving my college degree, the uncertainty of what my future held was frightening. However, making the decision to apply for a position with Simpson Property Group helped me lay the groundwork for professional and personal success. The talented supervisors I’ve worked with have provided me a wealth of knowledge about accounting, real estate, and company operations that will guide my career for years to come. Our generous PTO and health benefits have enabled me to travel the country happy and healthy. All the while, matching 401k contributions are providing a secure financial future.
