Simpson Receives CEL A List Award 2021

Simpson is thrilled to learn we have received the “A List” Award for Excellence in Customer Service for the 19^th consecutive year! This award is given to those who are named best in the industry for maintaining the highest level of customer service. Simpson is honored to be among those named for 2021.

What is the CEL A List Award?

CEL & Associates, Inc. (CEL) is an independent consulting firm that benchmarks property management firms’ level of customer service. And the A List Award is given to firms whose scores meet or exceed the award criteria.

To create the benchmark, CEL surveys residents and ranks the property management firms from tabulated results of those resident surveys. Simpson refers to this survey as the REACT survey and chose to take it completely online in 2020 to obtain resident’s feedback during the pandemic. The switch to the online survey was so well received, we stuck with the online format in 2021.

Based on this resident survey, Simpson’s Property Satisfaction Score was 82.3 (Very Good) and Service Satisfaction Score was 87.2 (Outstanding). CEL distributed 18,777 surveys to our residents and used the 9,540 responses to determine our results. Out of the 64 communities that participated, 9 achieved the Platinum A List award level and 36 communities achieved the A List award level! Simpson strives to meet (and exceed) our residents’ expectations and this survey helps identify what we’re doing well and where we can improve. We truly appreciate the time it takes for our residents to fill out this important survey and look forward to reviewing everyone’s feedback to further improve our customer service.
