Simpson is excited to announce the winners of the 2021 resident holiday coloring contest –Congratulations to Isabela at Chancery Village in Cary, NC for winning the grand prize!

 

Isabela received a $300 gift card for her winning submission which is pictured above. The drawings from second and third place winners, Aria at Meadows at Meridian (Parker, CO) and Courtney at Cadence Cool Springs (Franklin, TN) respectively, are also featured above. Isabela’s drawing will be showcased on the Simpson holiday card that is given out to our employees all over the country. Read on to learn a little bit about this year's winners!

 

First Place - Isabela at Chancery Village

1. How old are you? 11 years old
2. What is your favorite part about winter?  When it snows and the reindeer I love them  
3. Do you have a favorite winter activity? Play with the snow.
4. What do you want to be when you grow up? I want to be a fashion designer
5. What is your favorite holiday tradition? Be united as a family, prepare typical meals and share, give and receive gifts
6. What is your favorite holiday story/book? My favorite Christmas story is the birth of Jesus
7. If you had three wishes, what would they be?

• May my family be united again
• A dog
• Study fashion design 

 

Second Place - Aria at Meadows at Meridian

1. How old are you? I am 10 years old
2. What is your favorite part about winter? My favorite part is the snow!
3. Do you have a favorite winter activity? I love to have snowball fights or build a snowman
4. What do you want to be when you grow up? I want to be a doctor or own my own restaurant
5. What is your favorite holiday tradition? Favorite holiday tradition would be watching old Christmas movies for the holidays
6. What is your favorite holiday story/book? How the Grinch Stole Christmas
7. If you had three wishes, what would they be?

• Move back to Houston to be with family
• Go to waterpark, zip lining, or sky diving
• To live in a big house

 

Third Place - Courtney at Cadence Cool Springs

1. How old are you? 12
2. Which Simpson community do you live in? I live in Cadence Cool Springs
3. What is your favorite part about winter? The Christmas season, especially opening presents on Christmas morning
4. Do you have a favorite winter activity? Sledding!
5. What do you want to be when you grow up? A professional ballerina
6. What is your favorite holiday tradition? I like reading “The Night Before Christmas” on Christmas Eve
7. What is your favorite holiday story/book? The Nutcracker
8. If you had three wishes, what would they be?

• Trip to Paris
• Meet Taylor Swift
• Swim with dolphins
