Simpson Housing and Simpson Property Group recently went through changes in executive leadership. We are excited to announce Frank Rooney as the new CEO of Simpson Housing and Venita DeHaven as the new President of Simpson Property Group! Read on to learn more about both integral members of the Simpson family.
Frank joined Simpson Housing in 2008 and as CFO, was responsible for the company’s capital market activities and closed over $5 billion in debt financing and $4 billion in joint venture equity. Prior to joining Simpson, Frank was Vice President of Strategic Investments at Fannie Mae where he was responsible for identifying and managing equity investment opportunities including joint ventures with REITs and private developers. Frank states, ’Simpson has set the standard of excellence over my 30+years in multifamily real estate. I am eager to embark on this new chapter and to lead Simpson on a continued path of success.’
Venita joined Simpson Property Group in 2000 and held a previous role of Executive Vice President for the Eastern Property Management division. She brings 30+ years of multifamily property management expertise to Simpson and oversees all aspects of Property Operations, Marketing, Training and Capital Project Management. Her focus is and has always been to encourage an entrepreneurial spirit and culture of excellence within the organization. Venita states, ‘I’m thrilled for this new opportunity with a company I’ve been with for 20+ years. I look forward to my new role and continued success for Simpson!’
