I’ve lived at these apartments since 2022. The first year was a little rough — we dealt with loud upstairs neighbors, a burst pipe that caused water damage, and frequent internet issues tied to the building wiring. At that point I almost moved out, but when searching for a new apartment I realized that the grass isn’t always greener. A lot of places in the same price range had very outdated appliances and visibly old. You could really tell a difference. So instead we decided to transfer units. Since the switch, things have been so much better. We’ve been in our current unit for two years now and haven’t had any issues. It’s quiet, even with families living nearby, and parking is easy with the carport. We did have a minor pest issue at first, but pest control resolved it quickly. I also did have a package stolen from my porch but you get porch pirates everywhere and anywhere you live nowadays. House or apartment. I put a ring camera and have had no issues anymore, I instruct Amazon to leave packages in the parcel or ensure I’m home to receive them. The location is really convenient, and we’ve already renewed our lease again because overall we enjoy living here. The fire station and car noises don’t bother my wife and I, I’m a city kid so it’s white noise to me. Also knew when I was getting into, the department is right across the street! Like any apartment community, you will hear people talking or movies playing subtly, but that’s just part of apartment living and not really something management can control. The good news is management has improved a lot since I first moved in, and maintenance has always been great. The gym stays clean, the pool is well kept, and overall it’s been a solid place to live.

Pro's: - Good amount of space for a very affordable price! - HUGE, spacious gym. There is even a stairmaster and a Crossfit area. I'll definitely miss this the most. - Great location and 5min to HEB - Large windows in the apartment = great lighting! - Big dog park in the back - Easy-to-use package pickup area - Maintenance is quick and comes in just a couple days - shoutout to Eduardo! - It does seem like they listen to the annual survey feedback and I saw improvements being made Con's: - There is a LOT of noise from the surrounding area. There is a fire station across the street and I would hear sirens 3 times a day, including police chasing cars down Parmer. Not a great place to live if you work remotely. - Inconvenient guest parking policies and towing system: Guests have to park in the back lot (which can be a bit of a walk) outside of business hours. Violators are towed and the fee is $250. One of my guests got towed in less than 5 minutes of being parked. - Only one of the gates has been working for half a year, there don't seem to be attempts to fix the other. - Some of the renovations are nice like the granite countertops, but you can tell the cabinets were done sloppily - the cabinet doors are uneven and unaligned (but doesn't affect the functionality). - The front office can be slow and will sometimes take a few days to respond to emails. - When I first moved in, there were a lot of crickets. Fortunately I didn't see any the next summer.

Estuve viviendo en este complejo durante dos años. Desde el día que fui a ver sus apartamentos tuvimos una atención muy buena. No tuvimos ningún problema en el tiempo que vivimos ahí, el equipo de mantenimiento excelente (el cubano, no recuerdo su nombre pero lleva muchos años trabajando ahí) poníamos un mantenimiento y el mismo día, más tardar al otro día en la mañana ya estaban ahí arreglando. Dimos un depósito bien grande por ser el primer apartamento que teníamos y nos devolvieron casi todo el dinero. La piscina muy tranquila, y bella. El GYM muy bueno un equipo nuevo cada cierto tiempo. Tenía mi balcón decorado por completo y nunca se quejaron. En todo el tiempo que estuve nunca vi una cucaracha ni un insecto. Desgraciadamente nos fuimos de ahí (por buscar más espacio) y nos arrepentimos. Lo recomiendo 100%

Very friendly and personable office staff. They are also very attentive and quick to help resolve any issues. The maintenance team led by Jonathan is fantastic-super responsive, work is completed in timely manner, and they are also very friendly. Can't ask for more than that! Community is also clean and well maintained. Give Settler's Ridge a look!
