Earth Day is April 22^nd and according to EarthDay.org, events are held in more than 193 countries! Simpson Housing takes Earth Day Organization's notion of ‘Invest in Our Planet’ to heart and encourages our teams and residents to do the same.

 

Below are some tips on how you can celebrate Earth Day every day as well as Simpson’s ESG initiatives.

 

Simple ways to celebrate Earth Day every day:

• Use a reusable water bottle and coffee cups.
• Reduce, reuse, recycle.
• Plant a tree.
• Switch to eco-friendly cleaning products.
• Use reusable bags.
• Turn off the lights when leaving a room.
• Conserve water.
• Start composting.
• Learn something new about the environment, sustainability or climate change – you can start with learning about World Water Day and Global Recycling Day.

Our commitment to sustainability encompasses three areas of impact: Environmental, Social and Governance (or ESG).
