In today’s virtual world, it seems you can do pretty much anything directly from your couch. Finding a new apartment home should be no different!
Our teams are dedicated to assisting you in finding a new apartment home without leaving your current one. We’re actively working on offering virtual tours of our apartment homes and amenities.
The idea of leasing an apartment home without ever physically seeing it may seem crazy. But we’ve put together a list of virtual tour tips to help make the virtual touring experience a seamless one.
KNOW YOUR OPTIONS
Visit the community’s website for details on what type of virtual tours are available. The two types of virtual tours most Simpson communities offer are:
DETERMINE YOUR PREFERENCE
Decide which method you feel most comfortable taking a virtual tour. If you prefer a ‘go at your own pace’ method of touring, a 360° virtual tour may be better suited for you. Or if you are familiar with video communication methods and prefer to have someone available to answer questions and walk you through available homes, go ahead and schedule a virtual tour with the leasing team.
SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT
Should you choose to take a virtual tour with a leasing professional, visit the community’s website or call to schedule an appointment. Include notes about the specific floor plan and any amenities you would like to see, as well as the video method you would like to use to tour. If the website doesn’t list details as to what to expect on your tour, make sure to…
CHECK YOUR EMAIL
The leasing team will contact you once they receive your appointment request. They will probably iron out details such as which floor plan and amenities you will be touring as well as which video communication method you prefer to use.
BE PREPARED
Be sure to have the video communication method downloaded on your device prior to your appointment. Also make sure your device is connected to the internet and fully charged so you don’t get disconnected in the middle of your tour. As with taking an in-person tour, it is also a good idea to have a list of questions, preferred apartment features, community amenities and anything else you want to discuss with the leasing team.
It is as simple as that! And don’t worry, our leasing teams are experienced and ready to answer any questions you might still have about taking a virtual tour. So contact us or visit our community websites today!
