2018 Simpson Property Group National Awards

May 23, 2019

Every year, SPG hosts regional award ceremonies across the country as well as a national award ceremony that would take place in a different location within those four regions. The national award ceremony would typically only include the nominees and winners but this year, SPG decided to make a retreat out of it and invited everyone to Denver where our corporate office is located.

Invites were sent to every Community Manager and Regional Property Manager and when all was said and done, there were just under 100 people in attendance (inclusive of corporate office folks). It was a busy week full of fun events like laser tag and bowling at Celebrity Lanes, a full fledged national award ceremony at Maggiano’s, tours of our corporate office and two of our downtown Denver communities; Studio LoHi and Hartley Flats – Oh yeah, and we mixed in a little bit of business in there too.

Great discussions were had among the people who work together on a regular basis from across the country. It was the first time SPG had brought someone from every community together with department heads at the corporate office which means this was the first time a lot of our on-site people were able to meet our corporate teams. Everyone had such a great time that we’re planning on doing it all again next year!

But before we get ahead of ourselves with planning next year’s retreat, we want to take a second and recognize all our 2018 National Award nominees and winners (winners are indicated in bold font).
