February is the month where people typically shower their loved ones with flowers, candy and gifts. Simpson believes in doing this not only in February but throughout the year. And why stop at showering others with gifts? Self-care is just as important and has many health benefits – mentally, physically and emotionally.

LOVE YOUR NEIGHBORS
Neighbors may seem like a forgotten concept since COVID but helping the people who live in your community is a great way to care for others. Donate clothes or food in your local community, assist elderly neighbors with chores like yard work or shoveling, or simply just saying ‘Hi’ to people you pass when you go out for a walk – simple gestures and kindness goes a long way!
And of course, there is caring for family, friends, significant others, etc. You don’t likely need a reminder to do this, but we know Valentine’s Day is just around the corner…
LOVE THE EARTH
